Meet The Coach
Meet Coach Juwan Williams
Juwan lost his vision at 14 due to a condition called Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy. But that challenge sparked a fire.
He found wrestling his freshman year at Grissom High and finished his high school wrestling career at the Alabama School for the Blind, graduating in 2016. Since then, he’s spent 8+ years training and competing in jiu-jitsu and wrestling.
Now, he brings that lived experience and technical skill to every class he teaches — helping students get stronger, smarter, and more confident on and off the mat.
